Some technical data:
I don’t have or use professional quality video equipment or computer equipment. When it comes to producing video of family events I shoot lots of tape and then edit liberally so the flavor of an event is captured. This means you get to watch the parts that are important and interesting to you and your family but you don’t have to watch a boring 60 minute speech everytime. (unless the speech is what you wanted captured)
Scanned photograph quality is suitable for viewing on modern televisions. If you wish any photographs pulled out of the video, the quality would be enough to allow you to blow it up and print. There are limitations to this technology.
A part of my service is to determine the end use of the product and to scale the quality up or down to suit your purpose. It should go without saying that if you want all your photos scanned at 1200 dpi, it will take me longer and cost you more per photograph. Of course there won’t be any surprises and your satisfaction is my ultimate goal.
